This can be a time saver, since there’s no other way to tell if the battery is finished charging than to plug it into a computer and booting up.

When buying an external battery charger for laptops, you must be careful to find one that is compatible with your make and model of notebook computer. There is not one universal size, shape, and format of laptop batteries, so it is important to pay attention to this to avoid buying the wrong kind of device.
