While other computer manufacturers are busy with new designs such as tablet PCs and handhelds, MSI has been quietly selling their traditional style notebooks to business customers all over the world. The company offers several models of down-to-business laptops, ranging from the inexpensive bare-bones minimum, to the high speed advanced models for those who need the most computing power.

The MSI S271 laptop computer is a model for computer users who want a highly portable machine that still packs a lot of power. At less than 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds) in weight, this model is one of the lighter offerings out there due to its small size, with only a 12.1 inch screen. But don’t let its small stature fool you, as it comes with an AMD Turion dual core processor, which is a real screamer compared to some of the other laptop brands available. It also has many extras not normally included in a notebook computer, including digital surround sound, and Bluetooth 2.0 wireless communication.

A bit larger, the MSI M662 notebook computer features a 15.4 inch screen, and an Intel Core2 Duo T5500 processor, for more computing power. Basically, this keyboard has all of the keys that one would find on a larger, desktop PC style keyboard including the number pad. Rounding out the extra features is a 1.3 Mega Pixel webcam built into the case.

On the AMD side of things, the MSI M675 offers a Turion X2 TL56 processor. Although it has the same sized screen as the M662, the graphics capabilities are greatly enhanced with an NVIDIA GeForce Go 7600 video adapter, with 256 megabytes of video RAM. And for the security-minded user, this MSI laptop computer also includes a special biometric fingerprint sensor, which interacts with the operating system to keep out unknown users.
