While the Satellite was available in several configurations, the Qosmio model focuses on one thing: entertainment. With a 17” widescreen display, a high-powered NVIDIA graphics card, and an integrated TV tuner, this Toshiba notebook computer model was built with the multimedia fanatic in mind. The Qosmio was designed for watching movies, viewing images, and playing games. It also handles sound extremely well with its new 1-bit Digital Amplifier and Harman/Kardon enhanced Bass Reflex speakers.

The Tecra is Toshiba’s business workhorse. With five different versions of this model to choose from, they provide several advantages for business users over the other models. The computing power has been enhanced with most versions of this model, and they are dockable as well. As with the Satellite, Tecras are also available in widescreen and tablet PC versions, depending on what the laptop will be used for.

Finally, one of the smallest laptops in existence today, the Portege is solely focused on portability. Although it has a comparable amount of computing power and capacity as larger laptops, the case is much smaller and lighter to make it easier to tote around. It also has extended battery life, and comes configured as a tablet PC, allowing the screen to swivel around.
